Post date: 2006-06-18
Set your goals for a partner. In other words ask your self these questions:
What do I expect from my partner?
List all values you seek in a partner. Values can be things like:
1. Tidiness and hygiene
2. Wealthy
3. Happiness
4. Intelligence
5. Faithfulness
6. Integrity
7. Morality
8. Loyalty
9. Respect
10. Love
What are the attributes you want: Things like:
1. Body shape
2. Ethnicity: Black or white or yellow
3. Attractiveness
4. Beautifulness
5. Handsome
What characters?
1. Religious
2. Smoker
3. Alcohol
4. Drugs
5. Sexuality : heterosexual or bi-sexual
What characters, values and attributes can you do without them? What can you compromise on?
1. Remember you are looking for a meaningful relationship.
2. You are looking for a life-long partner, someone you can grow old with.
3. You aren’t looking for a trophy mate.
A trophy mate is a mate you parade around to make your friends envious of your find. One wonders how long the trophy mate will stick around at your side!
Put all these values, attributes and characters in your profile and let whoever reads your profile knows about them. Make a stand, it is for the best! It is better to get few quality hits (interests) than getting million of hits from incompatible prospect mates.
So only those people who hold the same values and who has the same characteristics and attributes will contact you and the rest will shy away!
Should anyone contact you, she or he must be serious in getting to know you, because she or he has done so after going through your profile which explicitly states what you stand for! Give them respect they deserve!
Stick to your guns and you will eventually win! Good luck! Remember to upload your pictures! A picture speaks volume!
And profiles with pictures attract attention!
